Firestorm Season 4 Fated: What Changes on the War Within Realm From October 5
Firestorm's War Within realm enters its endgame today. Season 4 — branded Fated — goes live on October 5, 2026 on the realm Dornogal, announced on September 29. The structure mirrors the Fated seasons retail ran in Shadowlands and Dragonflight, but customized for Firestorm's progression, and it arrives alongside the free Boris boost window and a limited bonus on point donations. If you play on Dornogal, or you are deciding whether to return for a season, here is the full picture of what resets and what does not.

What Fated means on this server
Unlike retail's rotating weekly Fated raids, Firestorm's version keeps all three raids Fated for the entire season: Nerub-ar Palace, Liberation of Undermine and Manaforge Omega. Every boss is retuned to the Season 4 power level, and every raid drops Season 4 item levels with the Fated branding. There is no waiting for your favorite raid's week — all of it is current from day one.
The rest of the content follows:
- Mythic+: the War Within dungeon pool is retuned for the new season. The announcement calls it ten dungeons but lists nine by name — Ara-Kara: City of Threads, The Stonevault, The Dawnbreaker, Cinderbrew Meadery, Darkflame Cleft, Priory of the Sacred Flame, The Rookery, Operation: Floodgate and Eco-Dome Al'dani.
- Delves and world bosses: retuned to Season 4, with the Khaz Algar world bosses from every season back at Fated power.
- PvP: a new season with its own rating achievements and titles — Fated Gladiator, Fated Warlord, Fated Marshal and Fated Legend. Season 4 PvP gear reaches item level 769 at the Gladiator rank.
The thing that resets hardest is your currency. All Season 3 seasonal currencies — Crests, Conquest, Bloody Tokens and Restored Coffer Keys — are wiped at the season switch, so anything left unspent is gone.
Gear, crests and the Great Vault
The upgrade tracks shift up, with 39 upgrade levels on every track:
| Track | Item level range |
|---|---|
| Explorer | 681 – 704 |
| Adventurer | 694 – 717 |
| Veteran | 707 – 730 |
| Champion | 720 – 743 |
| Hero | 733 – 756 |
| Myth | 746 – 769 |
Four new Fated crests — Weathered, Carved, Runed and Gilded — replace the Ethereal crests, with caps that rise each week. The "Outgrow" discount achievements return, letting you buy upgrades at reduced cost once you outgear a track.
Two quality-of-life changes are worth planning around. First, the Great Vault now lists every raid boss you have defeated and offers gear from all three raids. Second, the Catalyst and Great Vault now work together: a new interface in the Catalyst lets you choose which raid your Great Vault tier piece comes from. If you never pick, the default is Season 3's Manaforge Omega. Not using the Catalyst in the first week changes nothing — charges are kept at one per week, and your choice applies whenever you do use it. The choice only affects tier set pieces (both Catalyst conversions and the Great Vault's tier roll); every other Great Vault slot still draws from all three raids. Tier sets from all three seasons are also available at Season 4 item levels.
Crafting, Reshii Wraps and Echo of Fate
Crafting gets its own reset layer:
- Spark of Fate is the new spark, earned through Fractured Spark fragments with a weekly cap, and the base reagent for Season 4 crafted gear.
- Enchanted Fated Crests raise crafted gear to item levels 746–759, with Starlight Matrices still adding 3 or 7 on top — now purchased with Fated crests instead of the old currency.
The season's central currency is the Echo of Fate, earned in every mode: Mythic+, raids, PvP, battlegrounds, Blitz and Solo Shuffle. It feeds two sinks. It upgrades the Reshii Wraps cloak along a Season 4 track that starts at the maximum Season 3 rank (730) and gains one rank per week up to 769 over six weeks — Season 3 ranks 1–6 stay free. And it buys Legion Remix rewards in Dornogal, where mounts run 400 to 2,000 Echoes and class sets cost 1,200. If you have been sitting on a transmog wishlist from the Remix event, this is the season it gets funded.
PvP, Boris and the season handoff
The outgoing season closes on a schedule rather than a cliff: PvP Season 3 (Astral Gladiator) ends on October 4, with rewards distributed during the week of October 19, so titles and mounts arrive with a delay.
Two short-term extras ride along with the launch:
- Boris, Firestorm's free character boost, returns from October 5 to 11, once per account. On The War Within it grants a level 80 character with Champion 681 gear; on BfA: Reforged it grants level 120 with a Heart of Azeroth and dungeon gear.
- Point donations bought between October 2 and 6 receive a 30% bonus — which, depending on when you read this, may already be closing.
Quick checklist before you log in
- Spend or lose it. Crests, Conquest, Bloody Tokens and Restored Coffer Keys from Season 3 are gone — check bags, the bank and the upgrade vendors before you queue.
- Pick a Catalyst raid early. The choice is free to change before use, and the default sends your tier roll to Manaforge Omega, which may not be what your set wants.
- Plan your Reshii Wraps weeks. One rank per week means the 769 cloak takes six weeks — starting week one is the only way to finish inside the season.
- Decide on Boris before October 11. The boost is once per account and it will not come back for this season.
- Do not save Echoes of Fate for later. Early weeks are the cheapest time to buy Legion Remix rewards, before prices feel normal and the mount hunters pile in.
This launch also slots into a busy private server October — Firestorm's season opens the month that also brings Whitemane's Frostmourne Heroic raids on October 7, uWoW's Mists of Pandaria x10 realm on October 16 and Project Epoch Reborn on October 23. Our Q4 private server calendar has the full rundown, and our earlier coverage of the directory's first Mists listings shows how Firestorm's modern-expansion seasons fit into a scene still dominated by older clients.
::note Everything here is based on Firestorm's own September 29 announcement (news post 426), cross-checked against Private Server Hub's October coverage. Item level ranges, currency names and the Catalyst behavior are the operator's stated design for its custom season and may be retuned in patches without notice. The October 5 launch date was confirmed on the Firestorm homepage on October 5, 2026; weekly crest caps and the exact Echo of Fate reward prices were not itemized per reward in the announcement. ::
