Private Server Directories Add 28 Servers — and Their First Mists of Pandaria Listings

Private Server Hub's October 1 update is the first time a major directory has a dedicated MoP section, including Whitemane's unreleased Stormstout. It also lists Whitemane's TBC realm Sunwell — an announcement that has not appeared on Whitemane's own news page.

Private Server Hub bulk-added 28 servers to its directory on October 1, and the batch marks a small milestone: it is the first time the directory has carried a dedicated Mists of Pandaria section at all. For a niche that this site has argued is quietly growing — uWoW's MoP x10 launch is two weeks away — a major catalog formally recognizing four MoP realms is a signal worth reading.

The first four MoP listings

ServerStatusNotes
PandaWoWLive since 2013x100 realm with every raid up to Siege of Orgrimmar
TwinStar – HeliosLive since April 2026TwinStar's established MoP realm at patch 5.4; the network also runs Kronos
TwinStar – PersésOpened late August 2026Fresh progressive MoP realm, planned to continue into Warlords of Draenor
Whitemane – StormstoutIn beta, no launch dateWhitemane's MoP realm; delayed in June, now testing

Two of the four did not exist a month ago. Persés opened at the end of August, and Stormstout only reached beta after its June delay announcement pushed the Pandaria realm back "a few months." That a tenth-year expansion has fresh progressive projects opening in the same season is the notable pattern — and it lines up with the directory's own framing that some of these servers have run for a decade while others opened this year.

The Whitemane Sunwell caveat

The same batch includes a second unreleased Whitemane realm: Sunwell, a Burning Crusade server on the 2.5.2 Classic client, announced for 2026 with x3 experience — not live yet.

One thing we could not verify: Whitemane's own news index carries no Sunwell announcement. Its most recent post is the September 27 Personal Loot explainer, and nothing in the August–September run mentions a TBC realm. That makes the directory listing the only public source we found, so treat Sunwell's client, rates, and 2026 window as directory-reported rather than operator-confirmed. Whitemane's track record this year — Frostmourne launched September 19 as scheduled, and our realm entry tracks it — makes the claim plausible, but per the reading rules in our directory guide, an unlinked announcement is a C-grade fact at best.

What else is in the batch

The other 24 entries span every expansion, and a few are worth singling out:

  • GrimfallWoW — a classless level 60 server on the 3.3.5a client that launched September 5, the day after Ascension closed. It is the clearest example yet of the successor-reflex we documented in our sustainability piece: a big project dies and a classless spiritual heir appears within twenty-four hours.
  • Triumvirate WoW — the Vanilla/TBC/Wrath hybrid Classic+ server has Phase 3 dated for October 31.
  • Nozdor — the customized Russian x5 project is replacing its current realm with a fresh one named DUNE on October 16.
  • RavenCraft and Capybara Paradise — both Turtle WoW successors made the cut, on the 1.18.1 client and as a mostly-Chinese community respectively.
  • Felsong — Legion 7.3.5 at x10 from the teams behind WoW Freakz and Firestorm, plus a seasonal Remix realm.
  • Project Astral — a custom AzerothCore server progressing from Classic raids to Wrath on one realm; its Season 0 open beta started September 4.

Why directory expansion numbers deserve a grain of salt

A batch of 28 new listings is not the same thing as 28 new servers — many of these projects have been running for years (NostalGeek since 2009, Way of Elendil since 2006) and simply lacked a listing here. That is the same measurement trap behind our "how many servers exist" piece: a directory's count measures the directory's coverage, not the scene's size. What is genuinely new information in this batch is narrower and more interesting — four MoP realms formally cataloged, two of them weeks old, and Whitemane quietly building its next expansion bet while Frostmourne is still in its launch month.

::note All listings described here come from Private Server Hub's October 1 news post and the individual server pages it links; directory facts reflect what operators self-report or what the directory's editors verified, and the Whitemane Sunwell details could not be confirmed on Whitemane's own site as of October 4, 2026. Launch dates like Triumvirate's October 31 Phase 3 and Nozdor's October 16 DUNE realm are operator-announced and can slip. ::
