uWoW's Mists of Pandaria x10 Realm: Launch Date, Raid Schedule, and What to Prepare
uWoW — one of the larger long-running Russian-language projects, already operating WotLK and Legion realms — opens a new Mists of Pandaria x10 game world on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 16:00 UTC (19:00 Moscow time). The announcement went out on September 9 and has been mirrored consistently across the server-listing sites, so the core facts below are about as well-attested as a private server launch gets before opening day.

The format at a glance
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Launch | October 16, 2026, 16:00 UTC / 19:00 Moscow (UTC+3) |
| Client | 5.4.8 (final MoP patch) |
| Level cap | 90 (original) |
| Rates | x10 experience only |
| Progression | Staged unlocks — not everything open on day one |
| PvP | An opening season running until December 2 |
| Requirements | uWoW account + ULauncher + MoP 5.4.8 client |
The single most commonly misread line in the announcement is the rate. The team states it directly: x10 refers to experience, not a blanket multiplier — loot, gold, and every other system are not scaled. The remaining rates were promised "before launch" and, as of this writing, have not been published. If you are planning around gold-making or profession grinding, that is the number still missing.
Staged progression also covers more than raid entrances: quests, world bosses, and their rewards unlock in stages together with the raids.
The raid schedule
| Raid | Normal | Heroic |
|---|---|---|
| Mogu'shan Vaults | October 21 | October 28 |
| Heart of Fear | November 11 | November 18 |
| Terrace of Endless Spring | December 2 | December 9 |
That is a five-week ladder from launch to the last Heroic door — five days of pure leveling and gearing before the first Normal tier, then weekly Heroic unlocks trailing each tier by seven days. The PvP season ends December 2, the same day Terrace Normal opens, which makes early December the natural end of the realm's "season one" arc.
How to prepare
- Create the account on uWoW's own site — the announcement's account/launcher/client trio is the whole requirement list; no realmlist editing is needed because ULauncher manages patching and connection.
- Download the 5.4.8 MoP client early. The download is large, and uWoW's own September news notes that the client only launches after new files have fully downloaded after updates — the same logic applies to a first install.
- Verify what you downloaded. A launch week is exactly when fake "early access" clients and repacked mirrors circulate. Our checklist for vetting a client download before running it applies directly — see /resources/guides/checking-a-private-server-client-download/.
- Set expectations on language and community. The announcement and most project communication are in Russian; the server-listing mirrors are in English, but in-game chat and forums will lean Russian. If that matters to you, check for English-speaking guild channels before committing time.
- Diarize the dates that matter to you. The full October–December private-server calendar this fits into is tracked in /resources/guides/private-server-q4-2026-calendar/.
Worth knowing before you invest
- This is a new realm, not a fresh start on an existing one. Your existing uWoW WotLK or Legion characters stay where they are; the x10 world starts empty on October 16.
- The project's track record is the main reliability signal. uWoW has been operating for years and runs multiple realms simultaneously (including the seasonal Legion Plus x100 realm that opened in January 2026), which is a better base rate than a first-time project — but staged unlock dates on private servers slip routinely, so treat every date after launch day as a plan, not a promise.
- Nothing here is affiliated with Blizzard. Standard private-server caveats apply: no expectation of stability at launch, DDoS risk on opening day (every recent big launch has seen it), and no recourse if progress is lost.
- The population claim to verify is your own. Whatever the launch-day concurrency numbers turn out to be, they will come from the operator or listing sites. Cross-check against what you see in-game before drawing conclusions — the pattern of inflated directory numbers is documented in /resources/briefings/how-many-wow-private-servers-exist/.
If a faster MoP leveling curve with a slow-burn raid ladder sounds like your format, October 16 is the date, and the week before it is for the client download.
